David Darmawan

David Darmawan organised Darmawan Computing as part of Darmawan Consulting Strategic Business Unit. He brings a unique mix of technical acumen, business development skills, creativity and energy to Darmawan Computing. He is responsible for leading the firm's sales efforts and developing strategic partnerships.

David has served in a CIO and CEO advisory role to a Jakarta-based Buyout Fund of Funds with nearly $100 million under management in 2007 (PT. Redland Asia Capital Tbk. IDX:PLAS). He has also worked in various technical sales, business development and management roles in small startups and technology firms since 1996 in Belgium, Europe such as Link Software SA (EuroNM), Freebank.com. He is actively involved in Indonesia Institute for Inter-Regional Co-Operation and Development with www.lekad.org

David was educated in Europe since 1991 until 2004. And move to Indonesia since then. Received degrees and followed courses in different higher education establishment such as EuroData (Ecole d'analyste programmeur), EPHEC (Ecole Pratique de Haute Etude Commerciale), Universite Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), United Business Institute (UBI) Brussels, Ecole Belge des banquiers (Belgian Banker's Academy) and since followed mostly corporate seminar and courses program with Euro Money Asia in the fields of PPP Project finance and Financial modelling in (2006-2007) and attend several seminar locally in Jakarta with international participants in Green energy monetization and Carbon Credit.

David can speak fluently English, French and Dutch and he is Indonesian national and Bahasa (Indonesian) as his mother tongue. 

In his free time, David enjoys walking, fitness, body building and planting trees in Bekasi, Jakarta and Serpong, BSD, Tangerang, Banten area.
